About

Montgomery is a homeschooled kid living in rural Ohio who loves the piano. He practices every day and has gone almost a decade without missing a day. He dreams of owning a harpsichord and other historical keyboard instruments. He loves music from all eras and can't pick a favorite composer. When he isn’t practicing, Montgomery enjoys reading, riding his bike many miles through rural Ohio, and spending time with friends. Montgomery plans to continue his musical studies in college and hopes to share his love of music by researching, teaching, and performing with an emphasis on historical instruments.

Montgomery studies with Nina Polonsky. He is also the choir pianist and church organist at Good Hope Lutheran Church in Arlington, Ohio. He also participates in several groups in Chamber Music Connection and plays piano with the Columbus Symphony Youth Orchestra.
